Free guidance programme for IAS aspirants

Food for Thought

"The basis of my politics lies in the proposition that the Untouchables are not a sub-division or sub-section of Hindus, and that they are a separate and distinct element in the national life of India".
Babasaheb Dr.B.R.Ambedkar.

Manidhaneyam Trust and Appolo IAS / IPS Academia will jointly conduct a free guidance programme for aspirants of Civil Service examinations.

The Union government has announced a new system of examinations and a new syllabus for All India Services.
As per the new system, the preliminary examination will have two papers with 200 marks each.

Paper I will have questions on Indian history, economy, polity, culture, world geography and current affairs of national and international importance.

Paper II will test the candidates ability to understand English, communication skills, general mathematics, logical and analytical reasoning, decision making, problem solving and statistical analysis.
As the new system has raised a lot of doubts among students, including those who had already taken the civil services exams before, the trust will conduct the free guidance programme at CIT Nagar in T. Nagar.
Experts coaching in civil services examinations, CAT, MAT and those training candidates for aptitude tests of IT companies and bank probationary officers exams will conduct the classes, according to a release from the trust run by Saidai S. Duraisamy.
Candidates already undergoing free training at the trust's centre in Anna Nagar need not participate. The special guidance was meant for candidates who were not selected for the ongoing programme and especially for the new aspirants.
