Babasaheb Dr B.R.Ambedkar's birthday declared holiday

The Union government has decided to declare April 14, 2011 as a holiday on account of the birthday of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar for all its offices, including industrial establishments.

The holiday is also being notified in exercise of powers conferred by Section 25 of Negotiable Instruments Act 1881, an official release said on Monday.
